Traumatic Brain Injury Services of California (TBISCA) Services

Traumatic Brain Injury Services of California (TBISCA) is an association comprised of seven organizations serving persons with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) throughout California. TBISCA provides a unified voice for TBI survivors, their families and the community through collaborative partnerships, legislative advocacy and TBI education.

Each TBI organization provides or coordinates a variety of core services to persons over the age of 18 with a Traumatic Brain Injury.

Core Services

Information, Referral and Coordination: Provides information about local resources and assistance in identifying, accessing, utilizing and coordinating services needed by individuals with a traumatic brain injury and their families.

Community Reintegration: A variety of services to increase or maximize the ability to live in the community and participate in community life.

Supported Living: Offers a variety of approaches or coordinates support as well as training to increase independence.

Vocational Supportive Services: Pre-vocational or educational services necessary for an individual to function effectively at a worksite.

Public and Professional Education: Provides training on Traumatic Brain Injury to increase public awareness and professional understanding and awareness.
