Betty Clooney Foundation for Persons with Brain Injury (TBI) Services
- TBI Case Coordination service is one-on-one, and assists the TBI survivor in locating medical care, residential services, legal services, substance abuse treatment, education and benefits assistance. Additionally, the Case Coordinator assists in arranging needed tests, community referrals, and transportation needs. We provide a needs-assessment, identify problems and design appropriate interventions to address any problems.
- Information and Referral Service helps TBI survivors and their families locate the best possible resources for TBI that is available in each community.
- Vocational Supportive Services which helps TBI survivors function effectively on the job. This may include supported employment, job placement, job coaching and counseling.
- Supported Living Services which use a variety of approaches to improve a TBI survivors independence in their living situation. Someone may need to move to an assisted living facility or receive help in finding low-cost housing, and we can help with this.
- Day Activity Program offers a variety of classes and events at different times and days to promote TBI rehabilitation. We offer community and recreational activities to improve endurance, strength, mobility, safety awareness and community integration. We offer art classes, music classes, support groups, animal assisted therapy and exercise classes in order for TBI survivors to discover their maximum potential.
