The Central Coast Center for Independent Living (CCCIL) is a resource and advocacy center that provides services to traumatic brain injury survivors and caregivers utilizing the Independent Living model to help re-integrate the survivor back into the local community. Services are provided in the areas of:

• Benefits counseling
• Transportation
• Housing
• Employment
• Healthcare
• Personal assistance
• Peer support
• Assistive technology

CCCIL sponsors 3 monthly support groups for survivors, a monthly collaborative meeting of approximately 14 organizations providing services and a quarterly educational gathering for survivors, their families/caregivers and professionals.
Traumatic brain injury services of california photo Traumatic Brain Injury Services of California (TBISCA) is a coalition comprised of seven organizations serving persons with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) throughout California. TBISCA provides a unified voice for TBI survivors, their families and the community through collaborative partnerships, legislative advocacy, TBI education and accessible technology.
