Mercy General Hospital has been the recipient of a grant administered from the Department of Mental Health, since 1990. This grant is specifically to provide supported living, community reintegration and vocational services for survivors of traumatic brain injury. Along with support from CHW, Mercy Outpatient Rehab Center in Roseville is able to provide three levels of services, free of charge, for eligible participants.
MORC offers a comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation program consisting of physical, occupational and speech therapy. Should a client be eligible for grant funding, case management and neuropsychological services could also be available to assist persons with traumatic brain injury resume an active, productive life.
The Coordinated Care Project also provides the “Bridges” program. This service consists of weekly group sessions that include a support group, health and fitness training, and a community reintegration group.

TBISCA provides a unified voice for TBI survivors, their families and the community through collaborative partnerships, legislative advocacy, TBI education and accessible technology.
